Born from a passion for art, Nevertoolavish emerged. What began as a gathering of mural enthusiasts evolved into a unique business specializing in custom painting and artistic modifications. Nevertoolavish has become a renowned name in the field of custom art, transforming everyday items into personalized masterpieces.
On 17th May 2024, UIC College Graphic Design students had the incredible opportunity to visit Nevertoolavish and immerse themselves in the world of custom painting. This visit was a hands-on workshop where students could apply their creativity and learn new techniques from the experts at Nevertoolavish.
During the visit, the students were introduced to various techniques for customizing on different media. They were given the freedom to choose their own items, such as wallets, journals, bags, and more, to transform into their own unique pieces of art. Under the guidance of the talented team, our students learned how to breathe new life into these items, blending functionality with artistic expression.
We are forever grateful for this enriching experience provided by Nevertoolavish. The hands-on learning and the exposure to real-world applications of graphic design principles have been invaluable for our students. This visit not only enhanced their technical skills but also broadened their understanding of how art and business can intersect to create innovative solutions.
