UIC College ADTP Pathway
The United States of America is said to be the land of opportunities. It currently hosts the largest
number of international students in the world, and is home to many of the world’s top Multinational
Companies. Many American universities are consistently ranked the finest in the world, and offer
some of the best career options for those looking to find post study job experiences. Whether you
aim to be a leader in the corporate world, or a successful entrepreneur, U.S. graduates are
consistently among the top performers in the industry.
In collaboration with Whatcom Community College, UIC College offers the American Degree
Transfer Program (ADTP) to provide a seamless transition for high-school graduates to progress
into many different fields of studies at American universities, with options stretching from the east
coast to the west coast. Students also have the options study at Canadian universities after
completing the ADTP program.

THE AMERICAN LEARNING EXPERIENCE
At UIC ADTP, students will be a part of the world community of Whatcom Community College from day one, and are able to experience the true American higher education in Jakarta. A combination of on campus and online Lectures is delivered by Whatcom Community College and UIC lecturers. Quarterly visits by Whatcom Community College Bellingham campus faculty members also adds to the on campus learning experience for UIC ADTP students based in Jakarta.
UNIVERSITY VISITS
UIC ADTP will regularly host university visits/fairs on campus where students and parents have the chance to meet and consult with US university representatives in Jakarta. Inquiries regarding faculty and major options, entry requirements, as well scholarship opportunities can be made directly, alongside our advisors who will provide further guidance as needed.
SAVE COST AND SAVE TIME
Save cost by joining the ADTP program at UIC College and earn transferable credits accepted at top-tier universities in the USA. The program allows students earn both a Washington State high school diploma and an Associate Degree from Whatcom College at the same time, in the duration of 2 years of study.
SUCCESSFUL UNIVERSITY TRANSFER
Whatcom Community College has an extensive history of successful university transfers to various universities in the United States and Canada. The courses at Whatcom have been designed to meet the requirements of top ranked university bachelor degrees, which gives students the flexibility to transfers to various universities pursuing a wide selection of fields of study.
PERSONALIZED ADVISING
At UIC ADTP, each student will meet with an advisor on a regular basis to help them with their study plan and university transfers. Throughout their studies at UIC ADTP, the advisor will also closely monitor their progress to ensure timely completion and acceptance at the university of their choice.
Guaranteed Acceptance and Scholarships
Whatcom Community College has been for many years in partnerships with universities to make it easier for students to transfer and obtain their bachelor’s degrees. Acceptance to the partner universities is not only guaranteed, given the achievement of minimum GPA, students will also be guaranteed scholarships upon acceptance.

UIC College ADTP ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Intake: Fall & Spring

Be at least 15 and a half years old.

Satisfactory completion of at least grade 10/IGCSEs with a minimum score pass in each subjects (records/evidence of previous education will be required).

Demonstrate English proficiency through standardized test scores (TOEFL 71, IELTS 6.0, Duolingo 95, and others). Students without standardized test scores can receive free online English assessment from Whatcom Community College.

Satisfactory completion of UIC College entrance tests.

Interview with the Head of Campus.
Other Qualifications Students with qualifications other than the above will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
